Kari Samantha was an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer began her acting career in her teens. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three siblings. When she was young she sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. Kari Wuhrer, born in 1967 was an American model, performer and actress. She began her acting career at the Wooster school when she was 13 years old. She was born on the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield, Connecticut. She is the daughter of the father of a German American as well as a mother from Germany. Kari was born in an extended family of four. In her teens her nightclub performances were a highlight in secret, escaping to take a break. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster school at the age of 13 before going into drama school at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari started acting when she was a teenager. Her first break came in 1987 with MTV Remote Control.
