Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is an American actress, comedian and television host most well-known for her work in The Talk's daytime co-host role. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and raised In Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from polio. As a teenager, she faced many difficulties with her mother. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father due to him getting too close to her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from university. Her interest in comedy became stronger. She became the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. The year 1992 saw her make her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as an host on the T.V. talk show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started making appearances in The Talk as co-host. Also, she's played fictional characters in series like Bulworth and Nikki, as well as Beauty Shop.
